Tompkins Bank of Castile turned 150 this year, and wow, it has been fun! From our shareholder meeting to our Batavia Muckdogs game, to our historical timeline, we have been busy celebrating this major milestone in our company’s history. I hope you have been able to join us in this celebration.

Oak Tree Race - We're Off to Help the Community!

Labor Day weekend is a busy weekend for most people. As the official last weekend of summer, I know we all try to squeeze a lot into a few days. One of my favorite things to do that weekend, that has been on my list for the past 15 years, is to volunteer for The Genesee Valley Conservancy Oak Tree Race. I have volunteered for this event since it began in 2004, and I have had the privilege to watch it grow over the years into what it is today with 562 people to cross the finish line this past year.

150 Years Old - We don't feel a day over 20!

Tompkins Bank of Castile is celebrating our 150th anniversary this spring. Together with our partners at Tompkins Insurance Agencies, and Tompkins Financial Advisors, we plan to acknowledge this important milestone in a number of ways and at several key events throughout the year. The anniversary celebration will kick off at the original Tompkins Bank of Castile branch on May 1 and continue at our annual WNY informational shareholders meeting on May 14 at 5:30 pm at the Genesee Country Village and Museum.
